aluminium is a very good conductor of heat
n plastic is a very bad conductor of heat
so if u want a thing to be cool for longer time in a hot atmosphere plastic is the choice n if u want a thing to get cooled soon in an cool atmosphere then its aluminium for the job

in general aluminium heats n cools in very less time
where as plastic takes more time to cool as well to heat up
