Not sure why 7 is considered lucky although there are many reasons why 13 is considered unlucky, the main one being that it was the number of people at the Last Supper - Jesus and the 12 disciples - and we all know what happened to him.

well I honestly do not know why 7 is a lucky number, but I found a web site that talks about the lucky number 7 and it is lucky.

it is srange though because we have 7 days in a week too, man made up the 7 days a week I guess they ran out of numbers, but actually I guess it was that way because of God and the stars.

I don't know if there is an old reason, but 13 is my lucky number. My hubby and I married on the 13th and our first anniversary fell on Friday the 13th!

it actually began with Greek mythology I believe. . . not for sure, but When Odysyus had his 20 years of travel across the seas and his 20 ships got split during a storm, 13 were lost, and something else about 13 happened in the myth also, Its been so long since I studied the subject, but its deffinetly in mythology

You got it backweards. !3 is deffantly my lucky number and so is friday the 13.

I don't believe in superstition. any number should be lucky.
