Not the federal government...the Boulder, Colorado DA's office...who are perhaps the most inept, bumbling buffoons ever to touch the legal system. These idiots botched the original murder case, now botched this John Karr "joke". They should all resign in shame and embarrassment!!!

I hear you. I agree that the US govt wasted a lot of money on Mr Karr's extridition to the US, but I'm not sure you can place the blame on George Bush. It's a big government.

These were not paid for by the Bush administration, they were paid for by the county in which Boulder, CO is located. These people are probably not neocons and that's why they treated him so well.
