Please do not take your answers from someone named "sunflower" who thinks DNA is a cell. While neurons are indeed the longest cells (some several feet long!) the female egg is indeed considered the largest cell because its cell body (or soma) is so large it is possible for some people to see it without the aid of a microscope. The smallest cell body or "soma" is the sperm cell.

I know the biggest cell would be the female's ovulating egg but I don't know about the smallest. Is it the brain cell?
