I have had a guy friend commit suicide, and tot his day, my heart hurts. There is a part of my life that was taken from me, and if I could have said one thing to him, it would have been to get help.

I would be very upset, and
wonder if there would have
been anything I could have
done to help him through his
hard time.
But I would also try to realize
that if he had wanted me to
help him through his hard time
he would have asked me to
help him.
Some things are better forgotten.
Especially if you can not do anything
about it but feel bad, and guilty.
Just remember your friend the
way he was when he was happy
and content with life.
That is how he would want
you to remember him, and
he would never ever want
you to feel guilty.
He is at peace now, and
you should feel only the
love and the friendship that
you had for him.
It will be sad to think of him,
but you will eventually get to
a place where you can only
remember the good times,
and think of him in a way that
he would want you to.

I would feel very sorry for the guy. Even more sorry for his family that he died for such an awful reason. Everyone finds happiness somehow. Weather it's being married or coming to terms with being single. Life is worth living no matter what. Suicide is selfish as parents shouldn't bury their kids. I assume this man is young?

How sad ~ depression is very hard to handle, but there are many help lines and people available to assist with this. If you have dealt with this, then you too may need some help! There is no shame in asking for help and it is the safest way to deal with the hurt, loss and pain you may be feeling. My favorite website is the National Mental Health. I give to them freely of my time and money

I would be devastated....I know that you are really sad and you think that you aren't going to find someone who will accept you for who you are and love you. The truth is, you will. They are gonna love you forever when the time is right. Don't stress about it...she might be in front of you right now. Keep you eyes open and good luck!

hopefully he would talk to me before he even tried to commit suicide, and i would help him the best way that i could by talking to him. if he felt the same way then i would reach out to his parents or anybody for that matter and he would get mad but better mad then the alternative.

Naturally I would be upset. No one should take their own life over someone else. It just isn't worth it. I would be mad of course, but what's done is done and the next step would be to heal and be there for the family.
