We're desensitized.
"Science may have found a cure for most evils; but it has found no rememdy for the worst of themall- the apathy of human beings."

Yep less and less we just do for us and never wash anyone else's backs anymore, where have you gone joe dimaggio? We could use some real leaders perhaps, some positive news, some hope. Nobody wants to take that extra effort to recycle or learns that the chemicals in food is what is making us bigger and dumber, I could go on and on, we just need to get educated and hugged a few more times a day

Yes, I am often tired of the mean. Not that I am a fan of the median or mode mind you.
While the great communication and transparency capabilities of today's technology is a great thing, the down side is a greater propensity to become desensitized. For example, after seeing arabs and jews beat on each other for my entire life, I am no longer surprised when Islamofascists fire a rocket into a city or Zionists drop a cluster bomb on one.

Yep. Very tired of the mean.
One observation: I lose a bit of my faith in humanity every time I drive. It is a horrible illustration of how everyone is in it for themselves. Courtesy has no place on the road and in many instances no place here either.
I'm doing great on my bicycle and walking.

yes, I am tired of the "mean" and the seeming lack of respect and common decency. Common ettiquette and social values of politeness have gone out the window, and it's a shame.

We've become egocentrical. We care for our selves since we like the good life.
