I need to shop for fall/winter clothes. What is the latest fads? What would be some basics to have in my wardrobe?

some really nice things for fall would be a cream long sleeved vee neck top with a jean jacket and a pair of boot cut jeans ( dark wash) with a pair of brown ankle boots and a pretty orange red or yellow pendent necklace to make the outfitt stand out for fall!
what you should have in your closet for fall is a good pair of boots. there warm there very good alternative to heels and there very styling! a good jean jacket, jeans, vee neck long sleaved top, skirt that comes to the knees, tennies,turtle neck sweater but not to big make it light weght and one color.

It looks like 80s throwbacks. Also texture seems to be the main running theme for fall fashion. That doesn't change that much to me. Depending on how old you are, it varies. For me I am in my twenties so I see a lot of cords, houndstooth, chunky wool cardigans (tunic length), leather boots, furs (real and faux), some tweed, and some wool blends. The new trend is leggings! I saw them all over the department stores this weekend. The 90's are back! Brown is still in. Purple is very hot. Skinny jeans are in and I'm out of luck with that one!

well 4 fall wear some fall colors! Leggings r in but i'm not a fan! Cashmere sweaters r totally adorable!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wear pumps 4 shoes!! ADD ACCESSORIES!!!!! in order to make a fashion statement complete u MUST add jewelry!

def. the skinny jean, leggings, lots of bangles, chunky necklaces and braclets, big leather tote bags, big (long) sweaters. Basically anything that looks like it belonged in the 80's
