It is probably heart palpitations, do you notice it more when laying on your side? I would mention it to your Dr. pretty soon, tho.

depends on the person i guess...i get that feeling too but its due to heartburn
Heartburn or pyrosis is a painful or burning sensation in the esophagus, just below the breastbone caused by regurgitation of gastric acid. [1] The pain often rises in the chest and may radiate to the neck, throat, or angle of the jaw. Heartburn is also identified as one of the causes of asthma and chronic cough.
Heartburn actually has nothing to do with the heart; it is so called because of a burning sensation of the breastbone, although some heart problems have a similar sensation to heartburn.

It could be heart skipping a beat. This is called PVCs. You can research abundantly on the internet. These are generally considered to be inconsequential, but just in case a doctor visit is advised. Don't want to overlook a major issue.

Hard to know without more detail. Perhaps, stress. If it's painful and/or it reoccurs, get it checked out.

Do you have a pacemaker? If not, I would get a cardiology referral.
