Miley Cyrus (born Destiny Hope Cyrus on November 23, 1992) is an American actress. She is perhaps best known for starring as the title role on the Disney Channel original television series, Hannah Montana.
Biography
Early life
Cyrus was born in Franklin, Tennessee, which is in the Nashville metropolitan area. She is the daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus and his wife Leticia 'Tish' Cyrus; and the granddaughter of the late Ron Cyrus. She has two brothers (Trace and Braison), two sisters (Noah and Brandi), and a dog named Loco.[1] She is a middle child of five. She was named Destiny Hope since her parents thought that she would accomplish great things. Her nickname, Miley, was started by her father because she wouldn't stop smiling when she was a toddler. He called her "Smiley", which was later shortened to "Miley".
Career
Cyrus became interested in acting while on the set of her father's television series Doc, where she played a character named Kylie. In 2003, she played young Ruthie on Tim Burton's Big Fish and was credited as Destiny Miley Cyrus. On June 22, 2006, Cyrus performed a Hannah Montana concert at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon in Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. She will be opening for The Cheetah Girls for 20 dates of their 40-city tour.[2]
On October 24, 2006, Walt Disney Records will release the Hannah Montana soundtrack to the Disney Channel original series' Hannah Montana. The soundtrack is expected to include some of the songs Cyrus performed as Hannah Montana, along with songs performed by other Disney Channel actors. Cyrus also signed a four-album major record deal with Hollywood Records.

Have you evr heard of Billy Ray Cyrus? He was a singer in the 1770s and he didnot make in the music..so he went on to acting...when that didnt work..he let his 13 yr old daughte Miley star in her own show Hannah Montana,....the show centers areound Miley Stuart...the unpopular girl at her school.....by day she is a regular student...by night she is A POP STAR!!! Hannah Montana . It shows how hard it is to be a huge pop star and always having freinds who care....blah balh blah yadi yadi yadii if u ask me the whole thing is kinda "Oh i couln't be a superstar, so now i have to make my little girl have her own show...and i can star in it...." you know that sorta thing....
