Need is probably not the right word here. A condom could be used in masturbation. Certain techniques actually work better with a condom. Check out some of those techniques at JerkinWorld.com. You might be surprised.
He may also be cheating. I can't say.

In my life I have known some guys who masturbate in condoms to avoid the mess, but they represent a small subset of the male population. You will have to pay attention and see if there are any other reasons to justify the feelings you seem to be having that he may be cheating on you. I guess you have to ask which will make you feel worse, having a cheater or a freaky masturbator?

Typically a guy doesn't need one...however if they were somewhere they didn't want their ejaculation to make a mess, a condom would be a way to keep it contained...also may cause a guy with a sensitive penis to be able to last longer during masturbation, if he uses a condom.
Or, he may be cheating on you.

Guys don't need a condom for masturbation. I think it's unlikely a guy would use one for that reason, when a tissue will do the job.

i dont think so, as far as i've known guys only use condom when they have their sex with their opposite sex, but not for masturbation. Why do they have use condom when they have nothing to be afraid of? one of the protection of making a baby is condom, and when you masturbate you're doing it alone and it will not produce a baby for sure.

Sounds like a lie to me, but everyone has they're personal preferances. If you're in a relationship with him then you have to trust him, but don't bury your head in the sand, if there's an issue going on here, talk about it. You should be able to judge if he's telling you the truth or nt. And don't forget to trust your first instinct, it's more reliable then you may realize!

but I think that he's cheating on you as you certainetly dont need a condom for masterbation at all, it occurs naturally like blood comming from fingers,
No condom needed what so ever.
