what do you think about the statement below/ it was my answer to a question about why everybody is so mean on?

ok i agree that a lot of people are nasty /however it is the internet nobody here is really real, we are all like a bunch or 14 year olds with a black marker and yahoo q and a is our board literally and figuratively of choice...............there are some really cool people here though..............take everything online with a grain of salt

and remember anything that starts people thinking, cant be all bad

they had asked a serious question and left it for a people choice vote and a really mean answer got chosen/ i mean geez it is the net after all

Some of us here on the net are real. If I answer a question that I think somebody is in serious need of an honest answer, for instance, if I feel that someone is in a bad enough depression that I think they are suicidal, I give them honest answers, 'cause I really do care what happens to people who have no one to talk to. If I answer a silly question, though, I try to come up with a creative answer, and keep it light. It depends on the question.

hmm nobody on here is real hey hy its gay partners stevie and daveyy hell we are real and genuine, as for being, mean hey some of these so called idiots ae just trying too get your goat its just there way of life!! and on the internet nobody is real?? owe come on now nobody is that bad now, a bunch of 14 year olds?? hmm, okay when we were, 15 we were going on 30 with some many many different experiencess in our lifes, we are now 21, and dont consider ourselves too be 14 or anyonne else on here the thing of it is some people are just loking for real life problems some think you got to have a magic wand!! and thank you for calling us cool, peolpe most of you who know love us etc thank you, this thing being a 14 year old, maybe theres teenagers on here mesing around who know anything that really goes on here we se your point there but if you look at how the very question is set up, if you dont like it bothers you move on downe the highwayy!! ignore it!! you have a choice!!

I know where you are coming from I have had some nasty mail to my email because they didnt like what I said to their replies are they so immature to think that I am going to care that they will report me for the smallest little thing I do think there are a lot of young children here and they think that they are at school

Hey, great analogy. The good thing about the internet (or bad thing) is that we are completely anonymous. Total strangers divulging deep, dark secrets we wouldn't even tell our friends and at the same time, doling out advice to other strangers. It's quite funny and pathetic at the same time. Also highly addictive.

i always take everything with a grain of salt anyways...i just like to have fun,to relieve my boredom and thats why i am on here. if i can help someone on here then that makes it much better. i agree some people can be nasty and i just overlook those people.

Not all of us are mean. A lot of our 'meanness' comes from people asking dumb questions, racist questions, or questions that invoke hatred or violence.
