Donate it to the Salvation Army. Your tax detectability is limited to what ever they or any such organization sells it for. They will also give you a receipt. The IRS cracked down on this type giving several yrs ago as people were taking unfair advantage of the gift.

call your local court house,,they always have an updated list of all the charity organizations that accept vehicles as a donation,,or write off,,and they can give you a complete list of all of them,,good luck ,,i hope this help,s.
