No our minds wouldn't accept things if they didn't have meaning.
If you have all the normal brain activity then you can't help but label things in your mind as you go along during the course of your day. You just don't realize it because it's second nature to you. Everything we see, feel, touch, taste & smell has meaning & has been filed away somewhere in our memories.

Humans have always sought for a meaning to their life. For many, religion has spilled out answers to feed to them, usually to consume without real thought. People, as a society, need a meaning to their life to go one living, although for many, they live in a kind of 'purgatory' where they really don't care that they have not decided to live for anything. One of life's greatest feelings is to accomplish a goal that goes along with our own meaning of life. Since Human beings are sentient in their being, they are pushed to try and answer complex questions of life and purpose; existence and creation. In my own moral understanding of life, someone without a purpose to live is simply not human. Someone who simply doesn't understand their own meaning or is searching for it is someone who can truly recognize our ignorance as a race. It is those who choose not to have a meaning or choose to decide one mindlessly without concern for their own, self-generated moral and ethical guidelines and religious beliefs.

It's good to have meaning in life. I think the great part of life is the journey to find it's meaning. Every up and down in life adds to your unique meaning in life.

You don't really need meaning to live but what kind of life would it be. I think it would be the saddest life of all.

All life has meaning and purpose. It's what you do with it:-) Do we need it, I think that is what most people are searching for and it's like the proverbial snake, If It had been a snake I would have been bit. lol:-)

I believe that everyone needs to feel that everything happens for a reason and that reason is to achieve a purpose for existance.
