I'm not sure where your new pictures are coming from, but you can copy and paste from another application into a PhotoShop layer, just make sure you have the layer highlighted. You can also copy and paste from one layer to another. Just select whatever you want to copy (make sure the layer which contains what you're copying is highlighted), click edit>copy, then highlight a new layer and click edit>paste. This will place your picture in a new layer. The best way to work with PhotoShop is to create and manage layers. I hope I'm explaining this well, to sum up: Click on a layer in the layer palette to work with images in that layer. The best way to put images in a layer is to select the image (use either a select tool such as the magic wand or click on Select>All which selects everything in the layer that is highlighted) click on Edit>Copy and paste them into the new layer. Remember to highlight the new layer before you paste the image into it.

It is difficult to answer such a question like this...I hope I helped. Email me in the daytime (EST) for more help...it's late now and I'm heading to bed, but I'd be happy to offer more help in PhotoShop...it's just too hard to explain like this.....if I knew more about where these pics are coming from, I could help you. As a quick test - try this... Open any image, for example a *.gif or a *.jpg ... then press "Ctrl + A" .. thats select all then copy "Ctrl + C"
Then "Ctrl + N" for a new canvas, then on the new canvas press "Ctrl + V" several times to paste in multiple layers (of the same image)

To combine different images just copy select all, copy and paste on to your new canvas.

Another tip is to goto "Layer" on the toolbar and find "New Layer"

Just have a play around with the layers feature to start getting used to it. I hope that helps :-)

BTW, i expect you get the idea with "Ctrl + C" just press Ctrl and the C button (the plus symbol is not pressed)

first, use erase handler, then trim your picture until your body will be left, then use magic selector, and select on white screen, then right click on white screen, then select invert selection, then press "ctrl+x" to cut the picture...and then select all and erase all...and then create new layer at the right side inventories...
then press "ctrl+v" to paste the picture on it...

now you can have two layer and one layer contain about the picture you edited or trimed...

have a nice editing...

Oh yeah, I remember this particular problem, you have to use the magic removal tool and then it works a treat!
