Basically what they others have been saying is right just to add a bit of clarity.
To capture entire screen just hit the Prt sc button in the top right hand corner usually.
To capture current window only hold down Alt and then press Prt sc.
Then go to into your favourite image editing program Microsoft Paint, Photoshop and select Paste from the menus.

That's funny. I'm sure they're all (the answers) right, but on my computer, you hit Function/Print Screen to copy it. Then, Paste it into whatever.
And on another laptop computer, you just hit print screen.
Check your computer's documentation.

Easy. On your keyboard's upper right hand corner you will see a button 'Print Screen'. Press this button. Then go to 'start', 'programs', 'accessories', 'paint', then paste.

Alt+print screen button on your keyboard!
you can paste it after to document or paint
(alt key will help you to capture only the active window on your desktop)

press the "prt scr" usually above the home-end-page up-page down buttons and when you press shift+insert which is the clasic paste you get ur screenshot... ^^
