How to put pictures into Yahoo email?

I want to send a picture of my grandchild to a friend in an email

Yahoo email will not let you put a picture into the text of an email, but it will allow you to sent it as an attachment.
Go into the Yahoo email, and click compose button
Click the Attach File button
Browse you way to the file(s) you want to attach
It will add the files to the email
You will not see the pictures in the email, but they are attached
Send th email
Whoever gets it can click at the top of the email where it says Attachements and it will download the picture to their computer so they can see it
