Can I change my domain name?

Question

Alright, so I have a domain name but it is way longer than what I wanted...www.youthencouragingsuffrage.com
is there any way that I can keep my service that I had to pay for (setup, first month, etc.) and change my domain name?
it is hosted through Yahoo! Small Business...

please tell me there is a way because i am about out of money for my project!!! please.....

I'm not sure about yahoo exactly, but my understanding is that through your host you will have to secure another domain, which will cost you some dough unfortunately. Sry! I try to be carefull what I get in domains, but on the bright side, we all get better with experience. I have multiple domains through my host and it's typically $20 per for one year. The secondary domains always seem to be better priced after you establish the main I think.
