Yes it does. Only because I don't want to react in a way that makes my husband upset. I really don't know how to react. I don't want to offend the guy who is hitting on me because ... well common.. it's sweet and a compliment... yet I don't want to upset my husband. So you are kind of left standing there wondering what to say and do. lol

I have found that when a mans hits on you, knowing you are married, then he is actually disrespecting not only you, but your husband as well. My question to him would be "Are you so desperate for a date that married women are the only ones you can pick up?" or something to that effect. Many times a man will try to date a married women simply because, in their eyes, they do not have to worry about a relationship. Since the woman is already in a committed relationship they think of her as "safe". I would simply tells this guy that you are married and that he needs to move onto someone that actually gives a damn about him. Be rude if need be because he is showing you the ultimate in disrepect.

Depends on the man and the place. As a married woman why are you nervous? Where are you when you are getting hit on? A dark alley? Quit being such a nervous Nellie for crying out loud. I get hit on in the supermarket, most of the guys are just being friendly. smile and move on

Sometimes yes and sometimes no. I am in a relationship now and was faced with a very handsome man that I had always been attracted to for several years all of a sudden start hitting on me. Of course I was uncomfortable and very nervous. He works indirectly with me, therefore making the work relations very strained. I now, instead of seeing him face to face, I talk to him on the phone to get our work issues resolved. That helped me in my situation. Other times, I have been faced with this same senerio and it was not uncomfortable to me, I just considered it somewhat flattery and kept on going. I guess it all depends on who it is and how they go about it. Ignore them I would suggest. Good luck.

Huh? You simply say that you are married and not interested in any extra cirricular activities, and tell him to take a hike. What is so difficult about this? Rhetorical.

It depends on the guy and the type of flirting.
It can range from flattering to outright disgust. Nervous I'd have to say no.

Just ask if the guy is trying to hit on you. That works well. If they ask you out.Ask if you can bring your Husband. Every guy does this. When it happens to me I say thank you, I'll let my Husband know what you said.

Depending on the way they do it, I can get either uncomfortable or downright angry. There are a lot of jerks in my neighborhood.
