I use blankets only to stay warm and wipe up massive food spills.
If I really wanted to feel safe, I'd sleep with a McChicken on my nightstand--you see, I've got to protect myself from those midnight snack attacks. I always crave McDonald's at the weirdest times...it's best for me to be prepared.

Both, I guess. Blankets give me a strange sense of security. And they keep me warm :)

A little of both, mostly to stay warm, but I am 27 and I still think about little creatures eating my toes.

I have one big blanked to stay warm, and still have my baby blanket to feel safe. yeah I still have my baby blanket, and still using it, and I'm married. my husband thinks it's cute. :P

yes, its a security blanket for me.
even when my house does not have aircon installed some 10 years ago, i covered myself in one every night.

No, I gave up the "feel safe" blankey 46 years ago. They're just for warmth now
