In XHTML, how do I link to a file in another folder?

It would be something similar to:

Link to file

Just put the folder name and a slash to show you are changing directories. To link to a file in a folder above the one you are in you use "..", like this:

Hi.

Please provide additional information on what you are trying to do. In XHTML you can create hyperlinks with the anchor tag. I'm unclear what you mean by linking a file to a folder. You can upload your file to your web site under a particular folder. But you need to make sure the anchor tag reflects that file location to it is accessible when visitors to your site click on the link.

If you are in the root directory of your web, and you wanted to link to a file in a sub folder, reference it as so . . .

Same as HTML, xHTML simply says streamlined HTML text satisfying XML criteria.

So Link would do nicely.
