Join the army, fight the horrible enemy in every way my superiors command, be brave and kill for my country and people... And then, after several years I would realize that I've been executing a genocide, murdering innocent men, women and children, and lost a count while at it.
Something like this could happen, has happened in history, and sad but true... is happening every day somewhere around the world.

Having no kind of control, real or imagined, in a situation -
for example, when I go "under the knife" I ask the anesthesiologist to let me know when the anesthesia starts - that knowledge is my imagined control of a surgery I cannot see or know what they are doing to me - once an anesthesiologist refused to tell me and I panicked before I went under - I wound up in ICU because of it...
