I just feel so rushed. I cannot finish anything anymore. I can not concentrate on anything for more then 30 minutes at a time if that. And then when I try to rest I can't because I just start thinking about what I NEED to do. I just don't know what to do! I have tried to talk to my mom, but it did not help. Please, please help me. First of all, I am so sorry that you are having to live such an adult life at such a very young age. Sometimes parents live such a fast paced lives that they forget their children aren't completely capable of reaching some of the goals they have set for them, because they created these goals with a fast paced life in mind. Maybe, if you can get your folks to sit with you for a minute, you can say, hey! I am tired! I know all this stuff is important, but I'm 14! You handle it! You are the parents! I'm doing too much! I can't take anymore! If they wont listen, try the bold approach! Go on strike until they listen, or just start screaming: I need a stinking vacation!!!I am still a kid, and I am tired! Stop asking so much of me!!!! I am only 14!!!!! I am trying to go to school, work on my acting, and take care of the things you ask of me! Let me finish what is left of my childhood, please!!!! Don't take that away from me! You'll regret it later!!! You know it!!!

Slow down. Realize that you cannot do everything at once. Make a list of the things you have to do at the Present moment and dont worry about the rest."What do i have to do right now?" that is what you want to tell yourself. Relax, i realize that at your age everything is a big drama(not meant to be sarcastic) but teenagers dwell on everything, i was one once. Perhaps you should back away from everything for a moment and take a deep breath. Go out and do something that you want to do. Something that is fun for you and by all means take your friends with you! They are the best thing next to warm milk when you are trying to blow off steam and hey they will probably understand your problems better than anyone else anyway. Good luck.

Do you believe in a higher being such as God? When I was acting school I studied Michael J Fox ,he slept in a car and worked in the day on Family Ties and worked on movies at night . If he can sleep in a car and get two hours of sleep daily and live off peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for over a year you can find inspiration and motivation because it's seems you lost the reason why you work so hard If you do believe in a higher being pray for 10 minutes a day for strength. Sacrifice is the key!

Good heavens!!! Why is it your responsibility to get the house cleaned? That's your parents problem, although you can help as much as possible. You need to put everything in its own "pigeonhole" & concentrate on the task that you are doing at that time. April is a long time from now, put that away in your head for now. Remember the story of the tortoise & the Hare? Slow & steady wins the race. School is your #1 priority. Good luck!

The secret to studying is noise and music and reality to the subject.
When I was in College, I had to study two finals, one in Telecom the other in Electronics. I blasted the stereo out, grabbed me a beer and just read the material having a good time.
I passed with an A+ 100 on all my tests.
If you study too hard on something you will clog your memory with trash.
The relevance of studying in a quite place is bull crap.
The memory retains anything at anytime regardless of the environment. You can go to a birthday party and talk about your studies and pass a test.

slow down and take a deep breath. Appreciate the things you currently have in your life. A loving family, good health, reliable friends. In a short time you will discover a whole new level of stamina and you won't need as much sleep as you think. Start spitl your sleep time. A few hours every now and then and you can get through any day.

WOW!!! That's lot of crap hitting you all at once. Maybe try talking to your mom again. Tell her that you're still not feeling any better after your last talk. Maybe she's got alot to deal with too, and she just wasn't thinking too well herself. If that doesn't help, when you can, talk to your friends. Sometimes it helps to just vent to your friends who will listen, sometimes they can even be helpful maybe have some ideas you're too tired to come up with yourself. As far as getting to sleep goes, try reading a book or playing a handheld game till you fall asleep. I'm not a big book reader, but I used to play handheld Yatzee before I went to sleep, and believe it or not there were times when I would actually fall asleep playing. It really helped me when I was going through a rough time by keeping my brain "busy" til I fell asleep. Good Luck Sweetie :)

First of all slow down and take a breath. Maybe you should write your mom a letter and let her know all of this. Your mom is probably feeling just as crazy. Is there someone else you can talk to and if so do so. Good luck!

Wow!! Slow down, take a deep long breath....okay, good. Now fist off make a list of all the things you need to do(make sure you list by each task the time frame in which it needs to be completed). Now put each task in the order in which they need to be completed or of importance,as each task is completed mark it off your list.. Allow yourself at the very lease an hour or two of free time, mentally and physically.

I have a suggestion for you its relaxation, this is how it is done lie down on your bed and listen to the noises going on around your house your brain shall accept these as normal if you listen for them the technique will take about 10 minutes starting at your feet wriggle your toes and let them relax followed by your ankle move them in a circle and let them feel as though they are sinking into your bed, now go from below you knees down again repeat the sinking feeling now your upper legs let them relax and sink now from your tummy down tighten you stomach muscles and relax do it a couple of times, now I want you to concentrate on your breathing listen o yourself breath in and out try and slow your breathing down move your fingers make a clenched fist and loosen repeat now your arm and shoulder tighten and repeat this again now your whole back tightening the muscle s on tour back and relax now let your whole body from your neck down relax into your bed, now let your mouth drop open concentrate on your breathing again nice a and slow move the top of your scalp so that your hair moves then relax it repeat NOW let your whole body relax into your bed and listen to your breathing you may even hear ringing in your ears, lay there for a while letting your body sink into your bed IF YOU FALL ASLEEP do not worry as this shows that you are really relaxed. Good luck to you young man, I sincerely hope that this helps you
