If it's both of them, then it's probably just a fuse. Locate the fuse and replace it, and it should work again. Keep in mind however, a blown fuse may mean that there is a problem. I recommend that you eventually have it checked out especially if it happens again.

do this put the car in reverse,,with the key on,,and check for voltage at the light socket,,if there is none there check for a blown fuse,,if the fuse is good,,you have a bad back up light switch,,it,s really that simple to find out what wrong with it,,i own a repair shop,,and do this all the time,,hope this help,s.,,,also you don't have to have the car running for the reverse light,s to work on it.

well both guys above me are right, except the first answer of course, what i would recommend is getting a manual for your car and see whats on the b.u. light circuit because if it is a fuse it may not be because of the reverse lights themselves. but it could be because both lights burnt out, yeah right lol, its never that easy

Cristiano is right...get a manual. The BCM controls the reverse lights and it uses a relay to turn them on.

Fuse, Bulbs, Switch ....... in that order. If the fuse is bad, look for bare wire grounding out the circuit......otherwise, it'll blow again.

First, check the bulbs. If not the bulbs then it is likely the switch.
