I owned a really nice 3" refractor back in the late 60's and I miss it.

Good news for you:
Unitron is still in the telescope business

Besides telescopes, they make microscopes, binoculars, metallographs, and measuring microscopes.

Perhaps your old refractor was one of these models:

Unitron does show a 3" refractor on their website, but I have heard that you can't actually buy one from them anymore. In which case, your best bet is to join Astromart and post a wanted ad in their classifieds. Expect to pay around $1000 for a basic 3" in good shape; more with accessories.
