This is my serious opinion.
No. I am here even though in the past, I have thought I was somewhere else. Think about getting really high on acid or heroin- your brain isn't exactly here, or concerned with how 'here' you are... and you are still 'here'.... we're here because we were born.
Do you think that the misquitos are here only because they think they are? Probably not, right? And we are animals, just like they are animals.
Cave men also, probably didn't wonder about 'here'. They probably just thought about sex and raw meat.

We are only here to complete a journey of life. It the pathways you take that make it interesting.
Maybe we hear for some reason. I not to sure if we are here to be here. It sounds like something from the Matrix movies.
