Rove is a master political strategist and choreographing this would seem original and clever. The new VP would have all the advantages of an incumbent with access to Air Force II and free press coverage. Hmmm.....given such a scenario, who might the new Vice President be?

About as likely as this scenario:

1. In the mid-term elections the liberals take both the House and Senate.
2. They impeach President Bush and remove him from office.
3. Dick Cheny is sworn in as President.
4. He appoints his successor as Vice President.
5. Congress refuses to confirm his appointment.
6. Dick Cheney is impeached and removed from office.
7. Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi is sworn in as president.

Spooky ain't it?
