Without access to the original music tracks I don't think you'll be able to stip just the voice out of a song.

Ok, I have a recording studio and know a lot about this subject. When a recording is done in the studio, one must think of the spectrum that fills a room. The recording is done from left to right from one channel to the other on a stereo mix. Left is mixed down with usually music, and the center is lead vocal, and the right is music. The left and right are music, and background vocals. The center is lead vocal and bass. If you look at it as center being 12:00 o-clock, the bass will be 10-11, and 1-2. If you aren't dealing with a surround sound mix, you can get a program that will remove anything out of the spectrum, but you must first locate where the vocal is in the spectrum. Most programs that are on the market designed to make this type of recording can be purchased, but they are pretty expensive. I have a machine that does this, but you must be able to access the whole range of the spectrum, and look at the music on the graph, and decide what is pan left, right, and middle. You must take out the middle, but without restoring the sonics to the song, it will sound bad, and loose the bass punch. In short you will have to learn a lot to be able to do this. It's cheaper to just buy the cd's already done for you. Without access to the original tracks or masters that are mixed to 24 tracks, you will only be able to take out so much, and without a sonic maximizer of some sort, your cd's will sound bad, and have no punch to them. If you have $1,200 -$2,000 you can get some cheap recorders that have this as a built in feature, or as an add on for about another $350. Good Luck!

I dont know how. But you could get the karaoke ( instrument only )version on net most of the time. Or look for a midi version ( it is small file length too ) . Both will be excellent for singing along.

this is simple go to www.download.com & look for audio and video & click it, then click on (decoders & encodes) this WILL give you many software options to get for what you need to do from a CD you purchused or downloaded. even if it does have copywrite protection on it

You can buy computer software that will split all of the tracks on songs. There's also machines that will do it... I think they're about $300.

you have to mix the stero sound with a sound mixer or software
this way: channel left inverted phase (-L) and right channel normal
(+R) so the vocal is remmoved from sound track

try getting the original sound track. Otherwise it's easier to simply buy a karoke cd.
