When all else fails blame the President lol.
American's like to act like The President has full power over absolutely everything that goes on in the United States and well other Countries.
We all should know that their are secrets hidden from the public over most political stories, but still, we say stupid things and try to place blame blindly.
The president is really just a spokesperson for the US nothing more. He does not have absolute power and his decisions can easily be overturned.
Next they'll be saying he caused the Hurricane itself.

Bush is too nice of a guy for his own good politically. He tries to be the bigger person and didn't throw political darts back at mayor "chocolate city" Nagin or the governor as they deserved. FEMA responded just like they did for any other disaster in typical slow federal government fashion. That's why you can't depend on the fed as a first responder. State and Local failed to evacuate these poor folks and it gave the appearance that nobody cared about the chocolate citizens because of their race. Can't have that in politically-correct American now can we?
Bush took the blame and now he pays the price..............errrr.......actually the rest of America pays to fix New Orleans with billions of tax dollars. It's painful to watch.
I just hope that Bush learned a lesson from all this. Leave Crawford quickly, get on a helicopter and fly over the disaster, say it's a shame, send some money, and get out of the way.

Are you serious!!!Personally, I feel that the correct protocol was not taken. Many residents of New Orleans did not have power up to 10 hours before the storm so how could one possibly evacuate. Also, it was not the hurricane that caused all the disaster it was the lack of responsibility of the engineer who waited 40 + years to adhere to the codes and upkeep of the levees. When the levees broke that's when all hell broke loose. That's why people blame the govt. Do you believe if the Statue of liberty needed upkeep or maintenance it will be ignored for 30 + years or even the White House. i don't think so? Ignoring the levees was just the political agenda of the big time builders to rebuild New Orleans as a Casino district. they were just awaiting something to destroy and clear as many poor and minorities as they could without paying them off to move. Gentrification, look it up!!
Imagine your 16 year old cousin picked up for a possible suspect for vandalism on Aug. 28, 2005 just because he fit the description of a young black male with a red t-shirt and blue jeans. He sat in a holding cell for 48 hours. Due to all the drama with Katrina he was not given the phone call nor did he get evacuated. As the water grew him and other whom were stopped or detained by the police just set in a cell while the water was rising. They all drowned many were not even convicted nor did they committ crimes (runaways, profiled suspects) See the media left out so many things and you have the audacity to say its whining many people died slow and painfully, watching there lives pass by why the water rose. Our gov't who say the work for all people have their political agendas and the caliber of people whom made up New Orleans did not make their agenda!! And Katrina was an aid in whipping out what they see as the bottom percentage!!

What hurt the president was his repeated statements that he didnt know how bad the situation was there. Everyone in the unaffected areas could simply turn on the news and see people in flooded polluted waters, screaming for help and there was none.
Not to mention the vast difference in the response between Katrina hitting the Gulf Coast states and the hurricanes that hit/threatened Florida.
You cannot be president with a massive catagory 5 hurricane hitting part of the country and not know how things are going there. He has given speeches and rallied people to help many causes- 9-11, tsunami- why the sharp difference in this situation. For that, I certainly fault him.
I expect the leader of my country to have enough concern for all the citizens of the country. And as leader of the armed forces, he should be aware of any human disaster in our own country that may require guard assistance or humanitarian aid. That is one of the responsibilities, I believe, as commander and chief.

EXACTLY!!!! Want someone to blame, how about the Louisiana Governor & the Mayor of New Orleans (past & present) for using the money they WERE GIVEN to repair the leves for OTHER THINGS or to pad their pockets? Everyone knows the state of Louisiana is CORRUPT!!! Residents & Government!!!
The Mayor of New Orleans knew Katrina was coming & did NOTHING!!! The Louisiana STATE Government knew Katrina was coming & didn't care or do ANYTHING!!!
The blacks blame it on the Federal Government also saying that they blew up the leves to drowned the blacks because they have other plans for New Orleans. YEP!!! AHUH!!! YOU BET!!! Talk about B.S.
The thing I never can figure out is when these blacks are pointing fingers & STILL blaming the whites for EVERYTHING that is wrong in their lives I never heard a single person say.....
THIS WAS A "NATURAL" DISASTER!!!! SENT BY GOD & MOTHER NATURE, MAYBE THEY ARE THE ONES WHO ARE TRYING TO ELIMINATE YOU!!!! MAYBE THEY ARE SICK & TIRED OF HEARING YOU BLAMING EVERYONE FOR EVERYTHING INSTEAD OF TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOU OWN CRAPPY LIVES!!!!!
ALWAYS REMEMBER!!!! WHEN YOU POINT A FINGER.....
THERE ARE ALWAYS, ALWAYS 3 MORE POINTING BACK AY "YOU"...

Well, apparently the Bush-bashers look at it like this: With such a horrible natural disaster, Dubya should've been much more pro-active in making sure things were done correctly and efficiently. He should've been much more involved. You know, as the leader of this country.

Its wouldn't have been an issue of the people all standing on roof tops were white. You have the black leaders to thank for this and their ability to redirect the blame. This was a media and racial agenda played to the hilt. They are using this same guilt to keep people on welfare and their homes paid for by FEMA. This same ploy is being used to bilk the nation out of billions for them to rebuild New Orleans. That city will NEVER be the same and those people will never be able to return, because it will be too expensive for them to live there with the new construction costs.
