I am the worst person with computers because i do not own one but i would like to know if someone could help me out by telling me about a good laptop that is good and cheap and another thing, what is a notebook?

A notebook a laptop from Dell but the term is interchangeable in all cases too, they are the same thing. Any laptop top on the shelf should be fine.

just make sure it has at lest 512 k ram NO LESS more better!

and if you go to a store don't let the salesman over talk you into a high priced one that is the same as the others. Most sale staff don't know as much as they think.

A laptop is very similar in appearance to a notebook. They usually differ only on the size. A notebook is smaller than a laptop but has a smaller size. Notebooks usually have screens around 13" and below. Laptops usually have screens with 14" and above. Specifications are generally the same.

Try An Emachines W4620 It Is An Excellent Laptop And Plenty Of Power. I Believe It's $649.99 . I Use This Same Laptop And It's Fantastic.

as far as i know, a laptop and notebook are the same thing. in fact, if you search the yahoo answers archives you'll see there are many people who have asked just that question.

i just bought a toshiba notebook with a duo processor and it runs beautifully. not all that expensive either. why won't you go out and get yourself a laptop. i'm sure you deserve one.

HP and Gateway generally have lower priced Laptops/Notebooks (same thing), so I would look into them.

not to worry.there r many like u around.laptop is an old name for notebook.if u don't need a fancy one , u could get a notebook for under cad $500.

Get a Mac. Very well built, easy to use - take it from someone who was not good with computers. I now am thanks to Apple. Better for visual learners.

There not cheap, but you can purchase the cheapest model which is still pretty darn good!

yeah i have a toshiba as well but i inherited it from my dead mom so i cant say i know how much it costs but i love it i highly recommend getting one
