isnt it a crime in itself to admit responsibility to such an awful crime as the ramsey case?? what is wrong with this guy and why are there people celebrating that he didnt actually do it?? its soooo much worse to put yourself in it when you dont even belong. i just can not get over this guy. i really cant he is sick and he should be put away somewhere. i knew when this guy said h did it he was lying i just knew. because how is someone gonna come out after 10 yrs, ya know?? i have 4 kids,God bless them, and everyone elses kids. and i hope this family does get some type of justice.

I am disappointed. I wasn't holding my breath for too long, but I really wanted it to be him. I wanted the DNA to match. I wanted justice in this case. At least one more pedophile is off the streets though.

I think it is a crime to make a false statement like that, and he really does need to get locked in somewhere. mental asylum or jail, whichever. People who are celebrating that he didn't "actually" do it are completely missing the point that he is sick and shouldn't be around children of any age at all. He is not a good person to be around.

they are still going to try him on some child pornography charges but i believe he should be tried for lying because it is a crime I hope they can finally find the justice they so deserve and maybe this will break the case back open and be what they need to find it

nope. There's no crime against lying.

If he was under oath before a grand jury, at a deposition or at trial, then lying constitutes perjury which is a punishable offense.

I hear they will still book him on child porn charges so I doubt he'll be flying back to Thailand anytime soon.

I was amazed when he confessed.I've always thought that a family member or friend did this. Maybe not on purpose, but I think I could be right.
