There's a reason incest is not feasable: with humans, sex between close relations can result in severe retardation and other birth defects or acute versions of hereditery diseases in the offspring; incest also causes severe trauma and emotional disturbances in family members, leading to other behavior such as alcoholism and drug addiction. Incest nowadays is considered abuse, and is illegal . Under the law, I believe the closest relations that would be able to marry and have offspring is 3rd cousins.

If you believe in the biblical version of the arrival of the human species on Earth and take this story from the source, read the rest of that so understanding tome.Incestuous relationships rank right up there with same sex relationships for barbaric cruelty in the punishments called down on the practitioners of these acts.So if you want to use the bible for the basis of you so lame rationalization to jump you sisters bones you have to accept the stoning or flames that the bible calls for in this case. By the way you'd really be perfect for a starring role in a stoning. The results of such a union pro bally would think such sex acts okay due to the result of inbreeding. So, are you saying that if dear old dad wants to copulate with sweet little daughter there is nothing wrong? Are you saying then that the good, loving mother should teach her dutiful son how to have sex by doing it personally, that there is nothing wrong? If stupid son can't get a date, just go to sister for the sexual fix, that's fair?

I think if you're going to Bible school then you need the preacher who whomever is teaching you to tell you that you are not to take the bible LITERALLY. I suppose your the type that would be slapping someone on the cheek if it was done to you?We're all related in the sense of being human, bleeding blood, but come on now! You cant honestly believe it in any other way, can you? I'm so sorry, take some college courses on genealogy, genetics, on top of your religion courses, please for all our sakes!

Number one. Most people today believe in a thing called evolution (maybe not in the US) but its means that there were not, as you say, two people in the world at one time. Jeez.
Secondly, its not about the genes that you share with people that stops you from having sex with them. All societies have created ways to avoid incest as its unhealthy for offspring. Therefore that primal need to avoid incest has developed over time to what we have now, which, in most people means that the idea of having sex with family members is repugnant. Maybe not in Kentucky but, you know, for everyone else.

You're only CLOSELY related to a few people. The rest are far enough removed that it doesn't make a difference. If you are having sex with a CLOSE family member and justifying it this way, you're way off. Stop it.

It is an instinctive aversion that evolved to prevent inbreeding.
When you mate with a relative (first-cousin or closer) the chances of defective genes combining to produce birth defects are much higher.
