Poetry should be an overflow of the heart - so make some quiet time and just clear all your thoughts and then let your heart begin to speak and within that a poem will present itself.

Well, that is better suited for a mirthful tune, sung by travelers and such.

About today,
I don't know what to say,
you ask this question,
about a poem of fiction.

Answers came in,
not very long has it been,
From all of the listed,
Not one is interested.

I thought of one thing,
It's better than nothing,
To your question, I reply,
"Everything you can apply."

"As long it rhymes,
and good in times,
about everything you say,
so do your poems everyday." :)

Hm...how about growing up in a small town. Make reference to the old man who used to hand out nickles...the lady who owned the candy store. Dig out all of those old memories. Use lots of descriptive words (I know you're good at that!)
