bearing in mind that you are lesbian and you are pretty sure that she? It would have to be subtle because it would be akward (this is the hardest word to spell in the english language when you are dyslexic) if I was wrong or she wasn't interested. Something witty but sensitive.

Hmm justme,,, I would definitely pay close attention... If she says she likes something food, coffee, figurine, something small. Go out and get it, let her know you are a considerate person and you pay attention to what she says... Then I would do the brushing up against her hand, arm, etc, react over her damn it, lock eyes a lot and smile. Don't say anything... If you are getting the response you like then. Tell her your going with some friends to the local bar,, ask if she would like to go..... OR gay bar... This way it will set up a good way to let her know but if she is not interested,,, Your just an awesome friend or person... Have fun... Good luck

After asking if she would like to share a coffee,
I might ask if she was a fan of "The West Wing". I would add that I was a great fan of Lilly Tomlin and that I wished that I was as witty and attractive,

My girlfriend wasn't sure about my orientation when we first started working together. She was interested in me and simply stated one Friday afternoon that she was going to The Structure (it's a lesbian bar) by herself to play pool. She left it up to me to reply without any pressure.

Put a rainbow sticker on your car. Wear double-woman-sign jewelry. Touch--brush her hand, her hair, her arm. Smile. Look right into her eyes. Pay attention to everything she said. Let her know you remember. She'll either pull away (stop! if she does), or start talking in a definite manner.

My partner asked me if I'd ever thought about being with a woman. It really opened up the door for conversation without it being totally awkward.

i think attitude is better that statement, it will make you pretty sure bout her, like :
1. ask her to watch the L word, and ask what does she thinks
2. if there is a hot girl tell her that the girl is hot and you like it
3. give her more attention

If it was just for sex, I would ask, "Do you want to have sex sometime?" If it was for a date for something a bit longer than a one night stand I'd probably ask, "Do you want to go for a date?" I'm pretty sure the latter is less likely to get you slapped in the face though.

You could say, "what do you think of that Alabama Senator who is lesbian? Maybe we could meet and talk about it later."
