Eye Makeup-Choosing For Yourself:
A.Eye Shadows:
The eye shadow you choose should flatter and enhance your eye colour and the shape of your eyes, as well as your whole appearance. The skin colour, the eye colour, and your life style need to be considered when choosing and using eye shadow.Always harmonise the colour of the eyeshadow with that of your skin and your eyes.Whatever the colour, it should be blended in well, so that there are no harsh lines.Aim for the natural look.

Apart from colour, there is a choice of forms of the eyeshadows.
a.Pressed Powders: These are still the most popular form of shadows, because they are easy to apply and control. These are available in pearly and matt textures. The effect is not long lasting, but if you apply them with a wet brush, you can get a deeper effect and increase the staying qualities of the colour.
b.Cream Shadows: These are oil or wax based and are best suited for dry crepey lids and should be avoided on greasy lids.
c.Sticks: These are firmer forms of cream shadow and look quite like lipsticks.
d.Pencils: Pencils have, however, almost totally replaced sticks and crayons. They have a high colour and filling ability.
e.Gels: These are suited for greasy skins. These give a long lasting, subtle and translucent effect.
f.Liquid Shadows: These also have a long lasting effect, but are difficult to apply because it is difficult to get an even flow of colour with them.

well deep colors will make your eyes more sultry and sexy and bring out the deepness in the brown. But if you want to lighten up your eyes go for lighter colors and easy on the eyeliner. Deep browns, mauves, purples, greens are very beautiful on brown eyes. If your going out at night like i said use the deeper colors, some eyeliner, and a black mascara and they will look amazing. For the daytime pick lighter shades of the colors i listed and even some himmery, not glittery colors, skip the eyeliner and use a brown mascara, if you want to use eyeliner, then use a brown instead of black. I have brown eyes, too. I usually stick to colors with a golden sheen in them. The one I use the most is probably the dark shimmery brown by Bare Escentuals, but just on the bottom of my lids. I know purple, lavender, copper, rust, basically anything that brings out any colors in your eyes.

i too have brown eyes and used to HATE how they had no complexity to them like some of my friends with blue and blue-green shades that seemed so much more unique than mine--but now i love them! NEVER change your eye color for the world, it balances you in ALL possible ways. i suggest different hues of browns to pale beige. beige from the lash line to the brow line, complementing a middle shade of brown from the lash line to the eye crease, and finally an shadowing effect with a dark brown swept across the eye crease. blend, blend, blend, i CANNOT stress that enough. if you are totally stumped on how to find all of these colours of browns--go to your nearest makeup store or ANYTHING that carries makeup--you can find cheap shades that come together all in different hues of brown! so simple!

Brown eyed people can wear any colors! You're very lucky! You should feel special! I think that golds, blues, pinks, the smokey eye effect, and other deep browns look really good with brown eyes. I'm still going to send you some links on this very thing! I hope that this helps!

i myself have brown eyes,so first use a nice layer of medium brown, that glitters,so that way people wont say that, you put are like an all that girl!(beleive me,i said it ot myfriend, and boy she hates me!)now then put a light brown on add VERY little glitter! (but it will be better if the eye shadow already has glitter) then put a nice dark brown tone! and use black mascara but not to much! and try your best to make your eyeshadow with your cloths color!

Almay makes an eyeshadow trio just for brown eyes. It has a light purple for the lid, and a brown for the crease of your eye, and then a highlighter for the brow bone. I have it, and love it.
