you did not say what country,,if US its an error,or someone has put mercury on it. as all pennys are copper &zinc mix the only silver pennys US were made in 1800s the 1943 penny was steel. send pic

1987 isn't that long ago so I doubt anyone will give you anything for it, my dad has roman and greek coins from years backa nd they aren't worth that much so I'm guessing yours is worth nothing.
