Are you opened to the idea of working from home? Networking is a great way to earn money from home. Ever heard of Robert Kiyosaki Rich Dad Poor Dad? He has another book called "The Business School" and he talks a lot about network marketing strategies and getting on the right side of the cash flow quadrant. That's what I did when I started my own business at http://www.bedavis1.mywayout.net/ If you have a big enough dream, you can achieve anything :)
Good luck on your endeavor!

Most U.S. cities have online job listings that you can list. What I have done is go to yahoo and then search your city; example Chicago and then type in job listings. This should help you you out some. Good luck and happy job hunting!

HotJobs?
Craigslist?
What kind of job? In some industries/fields there are specialized sites or news publications that post jobs. In nearly all fields there are placement agencies (headhunters), and staffing agencies. They do not cost you anything (they make their money in fees from the companies contacting them for employees).

This is something like Monster. If you fill out more online applications and make more resumés online then you will get more results.
This site is a good start.

Depends on what field you're in and where you are.
If you're in Canada try www.workapolis.com or the Human Resources and Development Centre (HRDC) online.
