You are being very responsible and should know, that used correctly, these methods work very well.
However, the Pill can be compromised by antibiotics, and St. John's Wort (I got pregnant on St. John's Wort being on the pill -- but I also had a double-back (missed a pill took two the next day) -- had been on the Pill for YEARS (over 10 years) and had done this before with no issues. I was 34 when I got pregnant. )Condoms used with the pill should make both methods very stable.

I dont just recomend "just" birth control if you are not in a position to have a baby. I am on birth control and have been for a year (taken everyday) and I find myself going to the Dr. to find out if I am pregnant or not. But both methods are covering pretty much anything that could happen, BUT however there is always that little % that is not 100%. Good luck and way to be safe!

It is highly unlikely.
The average failure for condoms is about 1/100 (breakage). For the pill, I believe it is 2/100 so that would be about 2 pregnancies in 10,000 times. That's a lot of sex.
(oh, the pill doesn't protect at all from STD's, for those that recommended pill only).

There is always a slim chance no matter what you do you are going to get prego. The only 100% positive way is to refrain from intercourse. However, you sound like you are being very careful, so the chances are good you will not get pregnant.

If you take the pill as directed, every day, the same time each day, your chances are 1%, using a condom helps out.
You shouldn't be worried about pregnancy....but it could happen.

i would be. i'm here after all. my mom had an iud and was on bc pills when she had me. not to mention my dad was told he was sterile 3 months before my older sister was born. so if anyone shouldn't had kids it was them, and look my sister is 24 i'm 23. we're here. so if you ask me you have just as likely a shot of getting pregnant!

Nope, there is still a small chance, but all you can do is not have sex at all if you are that concerned.
