yes it is,,i own a repair shop,,and i have had to put new rotors on a 2004 chevy cavalier,,it all depends on how much there use ,,and how there used,,heat also plays a big roll in how long they last,,the cooler the brakes stay the longer the pads will last,,simply put people who ride their brakes a lot,,have to replace them more often,,good luck with this,,i hope it help,s.

Depends on the mileage done, but after the average of about 70,000 on a 6 year old car, it is quite reasonable. Fords are quite heavy on discs anyway, but they normally warp long before they wear-out. Some manufacturers now recommend a change of discs every time the pads are changed.

Yes that's very reasonable if it's a 6 year old car, in fact i owned an escort an it would go through a set of brakes at least once a year
