Do i need straight through or crossover?
I know there is one included with the network adapter but I am going to buy a much longer cable, so i need to be sure.

Straight through is best.

Although either will probably do as most newer routers are auto sensing (but check the router spec for Auto MDI/MDI-X first!).

:)

Hold the ends of the cable up next to each other (side to side, not end to end) and look at the order the wires are in, there should be 8 wires in the cable. If the colors in the ends match up, it is a straight through cable. If the order of the wires doesn't match, it is a crossover cable (the greens and oranges will be switched)

I think it uses a straight through cable, but you may want to check and be sure.
