To get to the Andromeda Galaxy from earth if you could travel there in a space ship near or at the speed of light?

It would take like seven years i belive to get to the closest star from here at the speed of light. However as you approach the speed of light time slows down more and more for your ship and its contents.

It's 2.5 million light years away, so, forgetting acceleration since that's completely unforseeable, it'll take 2.5 million years unless someone makes a wrong turn.

Considering that it is somewhere about a million light years away, as variously reported. Don't expect to see it personally. If you and your descendants pace yourselves to, say, 40 years for reproductively replacing yourselves, then in 25,000 generations one of your descendents will be able to arrive at or close to it.
