Stranded at work 3 towns over about 19 miles from home. Kids at home (well they are teens). We need to move out by tomorrow morning and have nowhere to go. Hurricane comes to town tomorrow. No money, no gas. He went to hustle up some money today and instead will pick me up 4 hours late and claims to have only made $5. Married 20 years with 5 kids. I have worked the whole time. He was a great Mr Mom but youngest is now a teenager and he still cant find steady work. What should I do? And How?????

Yeah we need some money management too. We relocated for a nearly 6 figure contract job (mine) that turned out to be a bust. Expenses especially housing are super high in South Florida. After jobhunting for 3 months I took a job that pays 1/3 of former job. Cant afford gated community anymore. Have to move. Housing shortage in County. Trying to pay catchup on all bills plus help support two kids in college........

Tell him to get off his lazy *** and find a job, or you're going to divorce him. I know it sounds harsh, but he sounds like he's just being lazy now. Your kids are old enough that they will understand what's going on - and any marriage should be 50/50 for contribution from both partners. Good luck!

Get yourself a inexpensive car and tell him to look harder for a job. He may have to settle for a less lucritive job than he is waiting for.
