For Microsoft word, use these menus and shortcut keys

1. paste function - select text or object with your mouse. Use Control C to COPY, (or Copy from the EDIT menu). Then use Control V to PASTE (or Paste from the EDIT menu).

2. inserting number format - Each paragraph that is to be numbered should begin without spaces in front of each of them. Highlight these paragraph, and use the NUMBER button on the standard toolbar (or use Bullets and Numbering from the FORMAT menu)

3. inserting format - what formatting. the FORMAT menu is full of them.
