I've been wondering the same thing and have come up with two answers which I think are quite legitimate.
1) They want to piss people off or
2) They really do lack education on certain topics....

I totally agree with you. I just seen a question right before yours, that read "Can you get pregnant if you use ky jelly or lotion?" I was thinking " damn thats a dumb question!!" ,and then your question came up. That's a crazy coincidence.
