Yeast infections can be caused by wearing too tight
clothes, not drinking enough water or from a combination
of heat and moisture down there. It has nothing to
do with sex. Since you have one go to your local drugstore and buy either Monistat or Vagisil products and make sure you read the instructions well. By now you might have noticed that you itch like mad. But what ever you do- Do not scratch. Instead apply more of that Monistat or Vagisil cream.Do drink plenty of water and cranberry juice. It helps so much .Good luck!

There are yeast infection meds at the grocery store. They may work, they may not. They never worked for me. Are you sure its yeast? If so, try the over the counter stuff first, if it isnt gone in a week, go to the doctor. Ive lived with yeast infections all my life and now deal with intestinal yeast overgrowth due to too many antibiotics. I was literally dying till a doc finally saved my life. Yeast isnt fun....good luck!

There are over the counter medications and eating yogurt with active cultures can help, but if this your first yeast infection, you should see a doctor.

It has nothing to do with being pregnant. It can be more common when you are pregnant. There are over the counter suppositories you can use, but you are better off going to a doctor. It happens to a lot of women, don't worry. Wear cotton panties, shower daily, make sure you stay dry as possible down there. There are certain foods you can supposedly eat. Just go see your doctor.

Get Monistat from the store. I would get the 3 day one though. The 1 day formula never seems to work.
