Having a debit card and paying for things with money I actually have!
American Express may be the exception, but it's funny how credit card companies make us think we're somehow more important by carrying one of their cards. We're so busy thinking we're so special, we forget we don't have the money to purchase whatever we're purchasing. The national credit card debt numbers attest to that.

actually no credit card is prestigious if you want to roll hard bust out with a fat clip with nothing but $100's or just write a check for a largge purchace and fill out your balance sheet in front of the person you want to impress. Im in retail and have seen all kinds of cards but never think that the person is loaded if they were why would you need credit? Ive seen people flaunt cash and also fill out their balance book on their checks
