If you love her, don't break up with her. Dude, a real friend is someone who is always there for you and who understands you. Someone who will love you no matter what. If your "friends" don't like her just because she isn't rich, that means that they are just superficial people who care about the outside, not the inside. Think about it, a million dollars can get you a whole bunch of stuff, but never someone who can care for you truthfully no matter what. And when we die, we don't even take all that money with us. But on the other hand, if you seriously do not feel anything for her, then it would be okay to break up, but don't do so just because she is poor and because of your friends. Friends like that are not true. Anyways, true richness lies in your heart, not on all the money you may have. Think about it, and don't hurt her, because I don't know if you have fallen in love, but when you finally do.. you know, what goes around comes around. Good luck =)

Immature boys like you are part of the reason so many young girls grow up with complexes. If you really want to break up with a girl because she isn't "hot" or "preppy" enough for you...that just shows what a shallow loser you really are. I can promise with this type of attitude you will never be truly happy with any girl you date. SHE deserves much better than YOU. My suggestion to you is to buy a blow up doll and dress her the way you choose...you seem to want a plastic girl anyway!!!!! Oh and another little piece of info for you....your so called RICH friends are probably only rich because their parents are. Just because her parents dont have millions doesn't mean she won't one day. I wouldn't be surprised if one day you and all your buddies weren't living in some roach infested apartment eating ramen noodles...while she, who actually had a brain and used it, worked hard to achieve success and lived quite comfortably with her handsome husband who actually loves her. My only suggestion for you......GROW UP!!!!!

if u love her then stay with her , and dont dump her just cuz ur friends thnik u should , spice things up so ur not tired of her and take her to an amusement park or go somewhere and get to know eachother better, and y does it matter if she preppy, that means nothing it is jsut a lable, and stick up for yourself and her in front of ur "friends" and act like shes really cool and theyll apreciate u much much more and so will she! trust me, i no!

I fyou love this girl, you shouldn't break up with her just because your friends don't like her. If they are REALLY your friends, then they will accept her because you do! If it's really out of the question to stay with her, then you should sit her down some place quiet and NICELY tell her that you don't think it's going to work out anymore. Please dont just come out and say, i don't like you because you're not hot and my friends think you're poor. That would be horrible! You wouldn't want anyone to dump you like that. Just be nice to her and maybe you can still be friends later on :) Next time, try to date a girl you actually like enough that it doesn't matter what your friends say about her. it'll save you the trouble later on.

This is all about you and how you feel about your girlfriend. Forget what your friends are telling you - unless of course she cheats or lies or has some hidden secret. Then you could use their advice or opinion. But if they just don't like her because of the difference in social class - that's really immature.
If you love her - then stay with her. Are you really tired of her? Or is it what others think - that's what you need to decide.

It shouldn't be about looks and what she wears. It's on the inside that counts. Does she have a good personality? Is she fun to be with? This is what you should be concerning yourself with. Sounds like you have A LOT of growing up to do!!!!

Be nice about it. Say you have changed and need to move on. It isn't really a lie. You have changed from the person she started with. But I think you need to take long hard look at your friends, and see if you really like them. If yes then breakup with her because she deserves better.

Are you willing to break up with her because of what your friends think? If she knew that, she would break up before you do. But if you truly dislike her for who she is, then consider the break up.
