My question is, my mom buys me nice expensive shoes that have leather soles and I have noticed lots of stains and marks from bug juice on the soles that dry after i take them off. I don't care that I have killed bugs, they mean nothing to me, but I do worry that all the bug guts that seem to soak into the leather will ruin my nice shoes. Should I be concerned or am I just being to girly?

I don't think the bugs are a problem. Shoes are for wearing in any weather, I doubt your shoes would have been made with a leather sole if they couldn't stand water (or bug juice) exposure. Otherwise they probably would have come with some kind of disclaimer, saying to stay out of water. :P I'm sure they'll be fine. :)

Wow, you sure have some family! I answered a question the other day from the mother of a fourteen-year-old who used the same logon so I guess she's your Mom and the 14 y/o girl's your sister. You really should get your own logon or ask your Mom to get hers!

But to your question: Don't worry about those stains too much. Nobody will notice or even care, so if you want to squash all those darned bugs -- isn't it so annoying how they always crawl around on the sidewalk and seem to head for your house? -- then just go ahead! It's much better if you step on them than use those nasty chemicals. Why? Because it only takes a moment to crush them, which is much better than letting them suffer a slow death from some awful bug poison.

Okay?

Yeah, girly is about right. The idea of shoes is to keep the elements from your feet & to look nice...the bottoms are usually wiped at mats at the door in my home, the bugs are a nuisance & I don't envy you but wiping the shoes on a mat should solve your dilema.
A sprinkling of boric acid around your driveway & walkway perimeters may reduce your bugs problems!

Everyone steps on bugs, and thus, gets bug guts on the soles of their shoes. Who really cares?

Haha!

Wow, I've never had that problem. I say the best you can do is avoid those bugs, but who cares if you have stains on the soles of your shoes? No one can see them.

this question is one of the best lol.... You should tell your mom to buy you payless shoes and give you the rest of the money so you can buy buys and kill them.
What kinds of bugs do you step on? I dont thinks they are just laying around in your house...

It's ok, no one notices things like that.

By the way, what does being 17 have to do with it? *Everybody* steps on bugs.

And, also, Girly Girls have more sheer fun!!
