I'd say a whole lot better than I felt with a draft dodging president that is on record as stating he loathed the military and wouldn't even take the time to learn how to render a proper salute sending American troops to Kosovo.

Or how about the wife of the above who didn't even want military guards in the white house because she had so much contempt for them.

Nothing wrong with seeking military deferment. If there were, it wouldn't be allowed. Dick Cheney is serving his country at a very demanding level and one that very few people are capable of, yourself included.

He has the fortitude to shoot helpless birds (and people he hunts with) and send others to be shot at; and he is calluous and dirty enough to expose a CIA operative out of spite and subject her to danger.
