Asuming you are using the following definition
3. a sudden, intuitive perception of or insight into the reality or essential meaning of something, usually initiated by some simple, homely, or commonplace occurrence or experience.
Then that would be left to the individual due to the fact that life experience would be the key factor in having the epiphany in the first place.
