I like both but I like Hollister better!!!!

Neither! I think they are both ugly, teen-bopper esq, unfashionable, gross, trashy, skanky, low class, and YUCK! I am a former fashion designer and current fashion researcher, so I know these things. But I suppose you are a little school girl, right? So these stores are IN for your age hmmm? Rise above the gross AE Hollister Abercrombie yuck trend and buy something from Kenneth Cole, DKNY, BCBG Maxazria, or the such. They sound expensive, but are they? If you go to the sale rack at a department store you can find these designers for dirt cheap, even cheaper than AE and Hollister. And you will look much more sophisticated and high class. If the kids at school don't notice this, it is just because they are wrapped up in their nasty teeny bopper Hollister grossness.
But I guess if you insist on my honest preference of these two stores, I would have to say American Eagle because it is easier to find sophisticated pieces there that don't really look like they came from such a nasty store as that.
I know I am fabulous!

AE and Hollister are generally the same in pricing, but Hollister is more surfer style. Wear whatever you like, they're both cool.

Definately American Eagle...the clothes are a little bit cheaper, and you can get better deals for the same clothes, if not better! Plus, I HATE actually going into Hollister, the people are SNOTTY, and stick thin, and it's so dark, and the music is so loud. It's horrible...so yeah. Kudos for liking Ae! ;)

i love hollister so much better. but if youre more laid back id go with ae. however the smartest thing to do is mix and match and throw abercrombie in there as well.

hollister because its more expensive. and plus my dad buys it. when you have the money use it, and we have the money.
